Overview
The overall goal of the Los Angeles Foundation on Aging (LAFA) is to improve the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers through comprehensive, quality support services and information. LAFA proposes to achieve this goal through program priorities. Program priorities were selected based on existing needs in the community. Five program priorities have been identified:
- Expansion of Home Delivered Meals
- Project CARE (Caring Actions Responding to Elders)
- Elderly Tenant Hoarding Program
- Consumer Education: Financially Literacy
- Research: Impact of an Aging Society in Los Angeles
